一、消防器材過期要換。

消防器材內的干粉需要定期更換。如果常年不換，消防器材將失效。一般消防器材的年限從出廠日期算起，達到如下年限的一定要報廢：手提式化學泡沫滅火器5年;手提式酸堿滅火器5年;手提式清水滅火器6年;手提式干粉滅火器(貯氣瓶式)8年;手提貯壓式干粉滅火器10年;手提式1211滅火器10年。

二、少每半個月檢查一次消防器材。檢查的項目有：

(1)消防栓、水槍、水帶、消防水喉是否齊全完好，有無生銹、漏水，接口墊圈是否完整無缺。

(6)消火栓三米范圍內不準堆物，不準堵塞消防通道。

三、滅火器的檢查方法

(1)檢查滅火器壓力指數。滅火器壓力表分三個區域：紅色區域：表示滅火器內干粉壓力較小，有無法噴出的可能或已經失效。綠色區域：表示壓力正常，滅火器可以正常使用。黃色區域：表示滅火器內的壓力過大，可以正常使用。但有爆破、爆炸的危險。

四、禁止挪用、丟失消防器材，改變消防器材擺放位置，嚴禁損壞消防設施、器材。
